THE REBIRTH OF THE BRIDE
There is
nothing like your love
No exchange
for all you gave
To be
welcomed into life {The rebirth}
So I would
know the love which saves
Now forever
to belong
To walk with
you for all my days
There’s no
greater love than this
You are the
author and the way
{Song: We The
redeemed by Hillsong Music}
4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into
death, in order that, just as Christ
was raised from the dead by the
glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be
united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 We know that our old self[a] was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to
nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.{Romans 6:4-6}
The unworthy
natural bride had to die with her groom in order to have His life; Zoe, the
very life of God. It was necessary that she puts on a form which cannot be
controlled by Sin. She has been enslaved by this monster for years. In fact she
was naturally born into Sin and the righteous groom cannot become one with her
in marriage unless she takes on a new life that is Immune to Sin.
5 For you have become a part of him, and so you died with him, so to
speak, when he died; and now you share his new life and shall rise as he
did. 6 Your old evil desires were nailed to the cross with him; that part of
you that loves to sin was crushed and fatally wounded, so that your sin-loving
body is no longer under sin’s control, no longer needs to be a slave to sin; 7 for when you are deadened to sin you are freed from all its allure and
its power over you. 8 And since your old sin-loving nature “died” with
Christ, we know that you will share his new life. 9 Christ rose from the dead and will never die again. Death no longer has
any power over him. 10 He died once for all to end sin’s power, but now he
lives forever in unbroken fellowship with God. 11 So look upon your old sin nature as dead and unresponsive to sin, and
instead be alive to God, alert to him, through Jesus Christ our Lord. {Romans
6:5-11 TLB}
Now she
has a new life, that sin loving body is no longer under sin’s control. The body
she has now is no longer a slave to sin. Physically she looks the same as
though she is still her old self, but the truth is that she is a new person and
this new life has power over sin. Sin will still attempt to control her but she
is no longer responsive to sin. Just the way an old Samsung remote control
cannot regulate an LG television no matter how hard you press the buttons, so
it is with this new life. The sensor has been changed, and sin can no longer
remote control her life.
4 But
God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,5 Even
when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye
are saved;)6 And hath raised us up together, and made
us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus{Ephesians 2:4-6}
13 And you, being
dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened
together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses {Colossians 2:13}
11 When you came to
Christ, he set you free from your evil desires, not by a bodily operation of
circumcision but by a spiritual operation, the baptism of your souls. 12 For
in baptism you see how your old, evil nature died with him and was buried with
him; and then you came up out of death with him into a new life because you
trusted the Word of the mighty God who raised Christ from the dead.
13 You were dead in sins, and your sinful desires
were not yet cut away. Then he gave you a share in the very life of Christ,
for he forgave all your sins,14 and blotted out the charges proved against you,
the list of his commandments which you had not obeyed. He took this list of
sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ’s cross. 15 In this way God took away Satan’s power to
accuse you of sin, and God openly displayed to the whole world Christ’s
triumph at the cross where your sins were
all taken away.{Colossians 2:11-15 TLB}
Notice that now she shares the very life of
Christ. All the charges that was against her, the arrest warrant, and the list
of commandments that she couldn’t obey, were all blotted out. The list of sins
was destroyed and nailed to the cross. Most importantly is the fact that God
took away Satan’s power to accuse her. Now she is beyond accusation and no one
can lay a charge against her because she is God’s elect, His beloved bride.
Love and forgiveness were major factors that provoked the rebirth, the quickening, and the new life. All her sins were forgiven and blotted out as though they never were. They were not to be remembered again. Her past was wiped away and she was made a new creature.

17 Therefore if any
man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new {2Corinthians 5:17}
17 When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand
new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun! {2Corinthians
5:17 TLB}
23 For you
have a new life. It was not passed on to you from your parents, for the life
they gave you will fade away. This new one will last forever, for it comes from
Christ, God’s ever-living Message to men. {1Peter 1:23 TLB}
Now she is a new creature, not
the old filthy and unworthy bride. She is now one body with Christ her groom
never to be separated by Sin again. She has a new life that will last forever. Why
will it last forever? Because this life comes from Christ Himself. His very
life is now resident in her. She proceeded from Him.
Just as Eve came out of Adam’s rib so this bride came out of Christ’s side. Adam had to be in a state of coma for God to take out of his side a rib to make his bride Eve. And when Adam resurrected he said this about his bride “This is the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh and she shall be called woman because she came out of man’’

And when Adam resurrected he said this about his bride “This is the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh and she shall be called woman because she came out of man’’
Eve had to take on the form of
Adam before she could get married to him. She was therefore made from Adam so
she could look like him.
21 So
the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep
sleep; and
while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s r ibs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he
brought her to the man.23 The
man said,“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.{Genesis 2:21-24}
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.{Genesis 2:21-24}
Likewise when this bride was to
be reborn, Christ had to die so that His side could be pierced. There came
forth water and blood and the Bride was born. When Christ resurrected He said
this about his bride” she shall be called THE CHURCH for she is my body and I
am her head.
33 But
when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his
legs:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear
pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water{John 19:33-34}
23 For
the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church:
and he is the saviour of the body.24 Therefore
as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands
in everything.25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ
also loved the church, and gave himself for it;{Ephesians 5:23-25}
Just as Adam identified Eve as
his body, so has Christ identified the Church to be one with himself. This
means that the Church is part of Christ and Christ part of the Church. Just as
Eve came out of the first Adam so the church came out of the last Adam
{CHRIST}.
Did you notice in the verse
above, that Christ is the husband and head of the church, and most importantly
the SAVIOUR of the BODY {The church}?
What I see most churches do
today is trying to be the saviour of themselves. They have no trust in the
ability of the Husband {Christ} to save them. Even though the HEAD has already
paid the price to save the body, yet the body doesn’t still feel saved and
hence struggles so hard to save itself. What the church doesn’t know is that “whoever
tries to save his life will lose it” but “whoever surrenders {loses} his life
for the sake of Christ and trusts in the life that Christ gives will find it.”
The church must get off and allow
Christ take the driver’s seat. This business of salvation belongs to Him alone.
He is the one in charge. He is the saviour of the body. There is nothing we can
do to save ourselves. The death He died was enough to save us. The cross was
enough!
It is obvious now that it was
for His bride The Church that he died. The birth of the Church is the sole
purpose of His death. This Church is the bride for whom the whole heavens wait
to be married to the lamb. She is clothed in majesty and power. She is holy and sanctified. She is
the beloved of the father and the Lamb. She is the glorious one but she knows
it not. She has authority over Sin, Satan, sickness and the Earth. She now has
the God nature. Principalities and powers tremble when they see her. She has
been made the master over Satan yet she still dreads him out of ignorance.
She
sees herself as sinful and unholy yet the groom sees her holy and spotless. She
thinks she has to work hard to please her groom not knowing that the PRICE was
paid in full for her even when she didn’t know her groom. She must be told how
much she is loved else she will struggle for long trying to please her groom.
She must have faith in the finished work of the groom but first she must know
about His love for her because faith worketh by love.
